Our
team of sound experts will introduce you to the lergest selection
of Proaudio equipment, recording equipment, lightiung equipment,
and video. Due to our vast knowledge in audio and lightiung
equipment we have the power to save you money on each purchase.
Getting you the lowest cost on audio equipment and the lowest
cost on lighting equipment is our job, because we want you to
come back for more bigger and better audio deals
You
will not find any add to carts or sale
tags in our store because we want you to call or e-mail
us to really get the lowest
most possible price. By clicking on a add to cart your garanteed
to get the maximum price, but we will leave that up to you.
Your
Sound Source.com and Muzeek World have now United. Much Bigger
discounts, with outstanding service
We
are BIG on support and LOW on prices!!!
Unlike
other stores we are an authorized reseller of all the names that
we carry
When
you walk in a music store do you buy the product without getting
a good/great deal?. Well that is why we do not have a buy- it
-now or Add- to -cart feature. We believe that just like in a
retail store- you as the end user should get the best deal when

lowect price. We garantee to get you a price within 5-20 min after
your request. Also due to online credit card frauds we feel safer
to work with you one on one
Your
Sound Source offers a full audio design and installation service.
Having installed systems in many clients we are now leaders in
church, gov. and studio audio design.
Listed
below are our principles of audio design.
Church
Audio Design principle
Sound re-enforcement is very simple in theory: pick up the desired
sound through a microphone and broadcast it throughout the area
in question at a higher level. In practice, however, there are
always obstacles that will hinder us in achieving our desired
goal in church audio design.
At
this stage, it is worth pausing for a moment to consider what,
specifically, is our goal in relation to church audio design?
This
goal can be stated quite simply: that every person within a given
area, in this case a church, can hear and understand what is being
said. It is the intelligibility which is critical in good church
audio design- there is no point in amplification if the resultant
sound, although loud, cannot easily be understood. This phenomenon
is commonly encountered in railway stations: loud but unintelligible.
This does not make good church audio design.
Secondary
goals
Having achieved our primary goal of intelligibility, we can consider
secondary aims: ease of use and aesthetic compatibility among
others.
There
is little point in having a sound system which is superbly intelligible,
but requires a full-time sound engineer to continuously monitor
and adjust the equipment. In certain situations - large live music
events, for example, this is unavoidable, but for church audio
use, the goal is ultimate simplicity: switch the system on, speak
into the microphone(s). No adjustments whatsoever.
Modern
equipment is now reliable and sophisticated enough that this goal
can easily be met. Most of the systems we have designed have a
single on/off switch for the entire equipment stack, and all levels
are pre-set by us, requiring no further attention. The system
is switched on before a service, and switched off afterwards -
no more!
Regarding
aesthetics: once, speakers were only available as large
black or wooden cabinets; microphones were bulky. Now, microphones
are generally miniaturized on thin goosenecks, making them virtually
invisible in use. Speakers are available in a range of colours
and finishes to blend in with most decor, as well as being a good
deal more compact than previously, ensuring that an installation
can be as unobtrusive as possible. The main reason for a sound
system being rendered unintelligible (assuming it is loud enough)
is the deleterious effect of the acoustics of the building. Certain
frequencies are naturally emphasized, others suppressed, leading
to a significant loss of audio information. This, coupled with
reverberation and echo can render even a loud sound unintelligible
- think of a bright, but out of focus picture.
A
well designed system can overcome the problems by specifying the
correct equipment: microphones specifically suited to speech,
equalizers which can be set to compensate for non-linear acoustics,
and an even distribution of speakers at carefully chosen locations
to minimize echo and delay effects.
A
further problem can be achieving a sufficient level of amplification
in the sound system before the onset of howling "feedback".
This can be overcome by careful choice of microphones, siting
of speakers and, in extreme cases, by the use of a dedicated digital
processor to specifically detect the onset of feedback and instantly
apply preventative measures - automatically.
Induction
Loop Systems
A recent legal ruling obliges all publicly accessible facilities,
including churches, to be fitted with a loop system for the benefit
of hearing-aid users. These loops are connected to the PA system
and radiate a magnetic field carrying the sound information which
is picked up by hearing aids switched to the "T" position,
giving much clearer reception of the required sounds while reducing
the effects of background noise.
The
system consists of a loop of wire (hence the name) around the
perimeter of the building, connected to a special amplifier which
is, in turn, connected to the system. Unfortunately, the magnetic
field is also picked up very effectively by dynamic microphones
and guitar pickups, leading to feedback. Use of condenser microphones
(see above), and careful layout of the loop can eliminate both
of these undesirable effects.
