Z-Q2 |
z-q2 two-channel digital EQ
Simply put, the z-Q2 is one of the finest digital
equalizers money can buy.
The
z-Q2 combines the precision and repeatability of digital with
the “openness” and “airiness” of the
best analog EQs. At the heart of the z-Q2 lies a 40-bit floating-point
digital signal processor running Z-Systems’ proprietary
digital filtering algorithms. These algorithms are the secret
to the z-Q2’s outstanding sound quality.
The
z-Q2 is a six-band stereo parametric equalizer that operates
entirely in the digital domain. It can handle up to 24 bits
at sample rates up to 96 kHz.* The z-Q2 can output 24, 20,
or 16 bits and features POW-r wordlength reduction, the new
industry standard. |

| IBIS |
IBIS, Crane Song's newest product, boldly takes
equalization to a new level of musicality. Each of its four
bands features switch-selectable frequencies centered on and
covering musical-step intervals from 32-Hz "C" to
22.35-kHz "F." Its four overlapping bands are labeled
with note names and frequency allowing for the first time a
"translation" between musician-speak and engineer-jargon.
The bandwidth control has similar notation with adjustment from
0.1 octave to 4 octaves per band and a boost / cut range of
12 dB.
The low-cut
filter is switch selectable from 20-Hz to 150-Hz with slopes
of either 12-dB or 24-dB per octave. Like most Crane Song
products, IBIS utilizes discrete class-A circuitry and features
a truly unique and adjustable "color" function that
can be applied to either the entire audio path or to any individual
frequency band. A fully stepped mastering version is available.

EQ-2 |
EQ-2 belongs in your audio set-up. The EQ-2
offers two channels of fully parametric 4 band valve equalization
- which in conjunction with variable high and low cut filters
offers unlimited control of any audio source. But that's not
all - unlike many valve equalizers, the EQ-2 provides continuously
variable frequency controls, so choice of frequency is not limited
to switched selections. It also features a pair of the acclaimed
TL Audio mic preamps (with phantom power), to enable high quality
direct-to-tape microphone recording, and a pair of front panel
auxiliary inputs enable a guitar or keyboard to directly access
the EQ-2. Another great feature is the "stereo mode"
switch - when activated, the EQ controls of channel A automatically
process the signal on channel B in an identical fashion - thus
the audio signals through both channels have the same EQ applied
to them: ideal for precise equalization of stereo sources and
overall mixes.

| Drawmer
1961 |
The
Drawmer 1961 allows the user to control the
amount of 'warmth' by deciding how hard to drive the tubes giving
a sound as 'clean' as the best discrete solid state designs
or as 'hot' as the 'hottest' classic tube designs. Offering
6 individually bypassable filters per channel, with global in/out
switching, variable high and low pass sections, the 1961 gives
you a wealth of EQ power. The four main EQ sections have overlapping
frequency ranges, bandwidth variable from 0.3 to 3 octaves wide,
and +/- 18dB of boost and cut. For maximum clarity, each EQ
filter has its own separate tube section, in addition, an independent
tube provides "soft clipping" when desired. Need we
say that the 1961 offers the ultimate in creative EQ potential? |

EQ-2NV |
The
EQ-2NV equalizers are loosely based on the
topology of vintage 1081/1083 models. The newly-designed class
A, discrete single-ended amplifiers in the EQ-NV Series bring
greater clarity and dynamic range to the musicality and control
of the 108x models. The line input is a transformer coupled
bridging type, with sensitivity options ranging from elevated
line level (+8dbm)
down to keyboard and semi-pro levels (-20dbm).

| 9098
EQ |
The Amek System 9098 EQ is a high performance
equaliser and preamplifier designed to originate microphone
signals of the highest quality and to process signals generally
in terms of frequency response. The circuitry is based on the
research I put into the early 9098 console and the approach
bears many similarities to that used in the 9098.
Paramount importance has been given to the sonic quality of
the audio path, taking great care to retain the highly-prized
musical character of the famous old designs of this pedigree.”

| Massive
Passive |
The
Massive Passive is an artist's EQ, an EQ that doesn't sound
like an EQ. It's a two channel, four band equalizer, with
additional high pass and low pass filters. With the Massive
Passive you can add totally natural and "organic"
sounding timbres to your overall sound, subtly sweetening
or shading audio to achieve the desired effect. The amount
of control you get is amazing, while the sound remains completely
natural. The great performance of the Massive Passive is due
to its special design. No active circuitry is used for tone
shaping (that's the "passive" part). Only metal
film resistors, film capacitors and hand-wound inductors sculpt
the sound. The result is a an EQ that will take your sound
to the next level and deliver the creative spark you look
for in creating great music.

| EQP-1A |
EQP-1A
EQ stack up to the classic original Pultec? At the risk of sounding
heretical, we'd have to say the new, enhanced version sounds
and performs even better, with a great-sounding line amp, the
ability to run a completely transformerless signal path, and
top-grade design components. All the boost and cut controls
are designed for absolutely silent operation and long life.
Bit what you'll really love about this EQ is the seamless integration
of control with top-quality, "natural" sound. Need
a little clarity or extension? Try that middle bell-shaped Boost
dialing in the sharpness of the boost on the Bandwidth control.
Something bugging you? Ease it off with the HF shelf control.

| Symetrix
552E |
Superior
fidelity, flexibility, power, and precision. That's what sets
the
symetrix
552E Dual Five Band Parametric Equalizer apart from
the rest. Delivering an unbeatable combination of wide dynamic
range, ultra-low distortion, minimal phase shift and ringing,
easy to use controls, and rock-solid construction in a 2U
dual channel package, the 552E is leap forward in equalizer
technology.
The two
separate channel of five fully parametric EQ bands are identical
in function. Each band delivers up to 12 dB of boost and 20
dB of cut, has an adjustable bandwidth control (from .05 octaves
to 2 octaves), and a frequency control range from 10 Hz to
20 kHz. Use each band anywhere in the audio spectrum, not
just the pre-selected ranges you find on most equalizers.
This can be very useful in sound system work, among other
things. For instance, you can use three bands to correct low
frequency problems and still have two bands left for midrange
and high frequency work

| Symetrix
532E |
theSymetrix
532E is a purist's dream - audiophile sound quality,
an uncluttered control surface, and rugged reliability in
one package. It has thirty-one filter bands per channel on
ISO 1/3rd-octave centers. Through the use of a global range
switch, each band delivers either +/- 6dB or +/- 12dB of cut
or boost. The grounded center detent position on each band
serves as an on/off switch that completely removes that band
from the audio signal path. In addition, they sport 12dB per
octave High Cut and Low Cut filters. Each has a sweepable
cutoff frequency and a control range that extends well into
the sub/ultrasonic.
