Top-of-the-line, fully professional monitor headphones
Totally
open designAdjustable speakers for optimized personal sound
K 1000
The K 1000 are a unique design that is the equivalent of wearing
a pair of loudspeakers on the head. The speaker capsule uses
a unique, freely vibrating multilayer diaphragm driven by
a newly developed, radially magnetized VLD (Ventilated Linear
Dynamic) magnet system. Sitting in front of the ear, this
dynamic transducer provides the best acoustic coverage factor.
The earphones using no acoustically hard parts, the sound
is absolutely free to develop in all its splendor. The speakers
are acoustically finetuned in a computer-optimized process
including time-energy distribution (Wigner distribution) measurements
and made with advanced manufacturing techniques. The result
is an unobstructed plane sound field in front of the ear that
provides a personalized listening experience.

Performers create their own personalized mix.
Use as a studio headphone system , live sound monitoring system
or as a front end for wireless monitoring. Connect
easily to any mixer; audio and power are supplied from the
master to the remotes.
The
system provides each musician with six volume controls: four
monaural (for mixer channels or busses), plus one for an overall
stereo mix and one for a stereo effects return.
Included
is a very transparent 2:1 AGC (Automatic Gain Control) compressor.
The
HM60 and HM59 each have a nine-band graphic equalizer for
precise tone adjustment. The HM58 has Bass Mid and Treble
controls.
All
master and remote linking is done by standard DB25 MF cables
available in many lengths.
The
HM57 provides an inexpensive solution for getting the audio
out to the HM59 and HM58 Remotes.
The
Rolls HM series Headphone mixing system offers a great-sounding,
cost effective and flexible way to provide custom monitor
mixes in recording and live sound environments. The combination
of unique functions and signal processing add functionality
and convenience to any single or multiple-user monitoring
application. The system has several options: the HM60 master
unit can stand alone or serve as a front end for HM59 and/or
HM58 remotes. The remotes come with a 25' DB25 MF cable and
can be "daisy chained" around the stage or studio
as desired. The DB25 cable is a standard 25 pin computer serial
cable and is available in several lengths. The HM60, HM59
and HM58 units are ideal as low distortion headphone drivers
for the most critical listening situations. They have mixing
capabilities, as well as important signal processing functions
to provide a clear and comfortable listening environment.
The HM60 and HM59 each have a nine-band graphic equalizer,
and the HM58 has Bass, Mid, and Treble controls. Each also
features a Rolls 2:1 AGC compressor to comfortably provide
even signal dynamics. In addition to providing high current
differential buffered signals, the HM60 and HM57 also provide
power and ground to the HM58 and HM59 remote mixers. The units
clamp to any mic stand. They are housed in rugged painted
steel chassis, use only the finest quality components, and
come complete with a limited One-Year Warranty.

The
Rolls HM series Headphone mixing system offers a great-sounding,
cost effective and flexible way to provide custom monitor
mixes in recording and live sound environments.
