DV-7 |
Now
you can have fantastic picture quality. The DV-7
is a digital video and audio editing system—complete set
of professional tools—made easy. A
full range of core editing functions for video creation and
a fast and efficient working environment.
High quality and Reliability
Pursuing zero loss in source image quality, the DV-7 Digital
Video Workstation uses the same native DV format used by digital
video cameras. This means you can connect a digital video
camera to the DV port, and transfer audio and video without
any loss in picture quality.
The
DV-7 also records analog audio and video in DV format, and
after editing there is little discernible difference in quality.
The DV-7 uses dedicated hardware for high-speed processing.
It is very stable because the software is dedicated to a single
task, and not required to run a large variety of complex processes.
The DV-7 provides a marked improvement in stability over software-based
systems on your personal computer.
Real-time processing
The DV-7 was built to be a highly productive machine. Edits,
titles and effects used to require rendering time, slowing
your project down. Since the DV-7 is dedicated to audio and
video editing, you can eliminate the wait, avoid unnecessary
compression and immediately view the results. The DV-OUT-RT
allows for direct digital video monitoring.
Easy to use
Just switch the power on and you have the video-editing environment
at your fingertips. The DV-7 provides all of the tools for
loading video and audio, creating titles, editing, processing,
and output of the finished job in one integrated package.
The DV-7 has been tested with many third-party devices. See
the current list of tested devices.

DSR-1500A |
The
DSR-1500A incorporates the same innovative, high standard technology
featured in the DSR-2000 into a compact, half-rack width design.
The space-saving size makes the DSR-1500 ideal for such installations
as in OB vehicles and with desktop editing systems. A key feature
of the DSR-1500 is its recording and playback compatibility
of consumer DV (SP mode only) in addition to DVCAM as well as
playback capability of DVCPRO 25 Mbps recordings, and its ability
to automatically accommodate all standardized cassette sizes
without the need for an adapter or changing menu settings.
The DSR-1500A comes equipped with a 6-pin
i.LINK IEEE 1394 DV I/O connection allowing it to be immediately
integrated into non-linear systems with connection compatibility.
By configuring the DSR-1500A from either or both of its optional
interface boards, it can be equipped to meet a broad range
of professional user requirements.
There are two optional
interface boards available for the DSR-1500. The DSBK-1501
combination SDI/SDTI/AES/EBU interface option board ensures
a migration path to and from Digital Betacam, MPEG IMX, Betacam
SX and other digital video systems. The DSBK-1504 analog input
interface board which includes component, composite and audio
connections provide the bridge to existing analog based systems
and equipment, and also allows the analog information to be
transferred E to E via the standard i.LINK DV I/O connection.

as well as DVCAM. In addition, The DSR-2000 also has the ability
to perform Double-Scan Playback, helping to restore both video
and audio of misaligned tape information. The DSR2000 also includes
a wider digital slow play range (-x1 to x1), excellent jog audio,
built-in video control (TBC), RS-422 interface, a built-in timecode
generator and Pre-read capabilit. Analog interfaces (component,
S-Video, composite video, and four balanced audio channels),
SDI, SDTI (QSDI) and AES/EBU interfaces are standard. An optional

DSR-1800 |
The
DSR-1800 is the successor model to the DSR-80. Implementing
the innovative, high standard technology featured in the DSR-2000,
the DSR-1800 boasts improved jog audio, slow motion and editing
performance. Two major features of these models are the built-in
jog/search dial and its multiple format playback capability
of DV (SP only) and DVCPRO 25. This unit has the ability to
automatically accommodate all 25 Mbps cassette sizes, and does
not require a cassette adapter or menu setting changes for playback
of these formats.
The DSR-1800 also has a full range of both
analog and digital interfaces. The availability of the SDI
interface ensures a migration path to Digital Betacam, Betacam
SX and SDI-based systems. The SDTI (QSDI) interface enable
a quality deterioration-free transfer between the DSR-1800
and DV compression-based systems. One new option for this
line is the i. LINK™ IEEE-1394 DV I/O connection capability,
which is useful for transferring digital video between the
DSR-1800 and compatible DV I/O equipped cameras, VTRs and
nonlinear editing systems

DSR-11 |
The
DSR-11 compact DVCAM video recorder is equipped with i.LINK™
IEEE-1394 DV based I/O connection, multi-voltage operation,
and both NTSC and PAL playback and recording capability (Note:
VTR does not convert NTSC/PAL system signals). The DSR-11 can
record and playback in either DVCAM or consumer DV formats,
will accommodate both standard and mini size DVCAM and DV cassettes,
and is able to be placed in either vertical or horizontal positions.
Features
DVCAM/DV Recording and Playback: Employs the DVCAM format
to offer superior video and audio quality and reliability
for professional use. It also features the audio lock mode
for professional audio editing. At the same time, it is capable
of recording and playing back the consumer DV (SP) format
(The transition from cut to cut may not be smooth when recorded
in the DV format).
Compact and Lightweight Design: The DSR-11
weighs only 6 lbs. 2 oz. With its compact design, it can be
placed on top of a PC tower or on its side by using the supplied
stand.
NTSC/PAL Recording And Playback: When playing
back, the DSR-11 automatically detects the color system of
the tape and outputs the signal. When recording through the
i.LINK (IEEE-1394) digital interface, the DSR-11 detects the
color system signals of the source and records accordingly.
When recording through analog input, the color system of the
source is set manually through a switch on the back of the
unit. An indicator lamp on the front panel shows whether it
is recording in NTSC or PAL.
Audio Capability: The DSR-11 can record two
channels of audio with 48 kFs/16 bit or four channels of audio
with 32 kFs/12 bit sampling that is selectable through the
menu.
i.LINK Connection Capability: The DSR-11
is equipped with a 4-pin i.LINK jack that allows digital dubbing
with virtually no quality loss. It can be connected to other
VTR equipment with this connection as well as to video capture
boards that support the DV IN/OUT interface (IEEE 1394). In
addition, the DSR-11 can copy timecode through the i.LINK
connection from a non-tape source (such as a PC) when recording
in the DVCAM mode. For example, if video is edited on a NLE
system with a new timecode, that timecode can be copied on
the tape when downloading. That way, if the timecode begins
intentionally with a large number, it can be copied to the
tape.
