Avioms Four-Mix Personal Mixing System with the A16D

The Aviom Mix4D is a complete monitor Mixing System for 4 performers.

It easily connects to any analog console using the console's line-level outputs, direct outs, aux sends, groups, or busses.

At the head end, line-level input signals are connected to the AN-16/i v.2 Input Module, which converts the analog signals to digital. Connect the included Cat-5e cable from the AN-16/i v.2 to the A-16D A-Net Distributor which copies and splits the digital signal, eliminating daisy chain connections. Connect the four PS-120 power supplies to the DC jacks on the rear of the A-16D to send DC power over the Cat-5e cables to the Personal Mixers.

Finally,connecting a Cat-5e cable from the powered A-16D jacks to each A-16II Personal Mixer is all that is necessary to set up the system; the mixers get their power over the same cable that delivers the 16-channel Pro16® A-Net® digital signal. Plug headphones, ear buds, or a wireless in-ear monitoring system into the Personal Mixer and you're ready to start creating custom mixes

The Mix4D system's head end includes an AN-16/i v.2 Input Module which accepts up to 16 line-level inputs. Audio is converted to digital and transmitted via A-Net®, up to 500ft/150m over Cat-5e. A dedicated audio thru is available for each input channel, allowing the AN-16/i v.2 to be seamlessly inserted into an existing audio signal path.

The 16-channel A-16II Personal Mixer allows a performer to create and save up to 16 custom mixes, and gives each performer control over channel volume, grouping, pan, stereo spread, along with master volume and tone. The system also includes an MT-1a for each Personal Mixer to allow the Personal Mixer to be mounted on any standard mic stand.

The A-16D A-Net Distributor eliminates the need to daisy chain Personal Mixers, and simplifies set-up by eliminating the need to connect a power supply to each mixer. The A-16D accepts one Pro16 A-Net input signal and provides eight parallel outputs, using standard Cat-5e connectors and cables. The A-16D can provide DC power for up to eight A-Net Outs by simply plugging a PS-120 power supply into the DC jacks on its rear panel.

As with all Aviom personal mixing systems, this four-mix package can be expanded as needed to include more Personal Mixers at any time.
