The CM82-EZ-II is the next generation version of the CM82-EZ that comes with improved and additional features. It also comes with different color variants: CM82-EZ-II-BK Speaker in Black and CM82-EZ-II-WH Speaker in White. It is equipped with one 8.0 inch (203 mm) polypropylene woofer that comes with butyl rubber surround and another one 1.0 inch (25.4 mm) silk dome tweeter. Easy-access six-position tap switch is built intended for 25/70.7/100-volt and 16-ohm transformer bypass settings allowing the easy stocking, ordering and installation. It comes with reduced amplification costs and maximum efficiency 89.0 dB sensitivity, 16 ohm impedance and a sealed enclosure. Superior voice intelligibility that comes with an average coverage angle of 95 (210 kHz, independently verified). Cost-effective 16 ohm settings is allowing for the use of multiples of two, four, or six speakers in a system with the use of a standard amplifier without a transformer. It is incorporating a painted steel grille along with rust inhibitor for lasting durability. Ceramic input terminal is capable of accepting up to 10 gauge plenum rated signal wire and comes including a thermal fuse. Suitable for use in voice alarm applications subject to EU regulations EN60849 and BS5839-8. Adaptable to ceiling thicknesses ranging from 0.04 inch (0.9 mm) to 1.60 inch (40.6 mm). UL 1480 (UEAY) and 2043, cUL, CE (EMC Directive 89/366/EEC, EN55020, EN55013) approved.
