The SoundTube IPD-RS82-EZ comes in two color variants: IPD-RS82-EZ BK Speaker in Black and IPD-RS82-EZ-WH Speaker in White. It is an 8-inch, coaxial speaker that is professionally designed along with BroadBeam Ring™ technology intended for consistently smooth high frequency sound, designed for use in open ceiling applications. The enclosure is professionally constructed of injection molded ABS that comes along with glass fiber reinforcement making it capable of lasting durability in either indoor or outdoor applications and comes with an aluminum grille along with a protective powder coated finish. Hanging hardware that comes with galvanized steel cables comes included and it also comes featuring a built in hanging bracket and screw on cover plate making the installation easy, secure and fast. The unit is possible to be hung or mounted direct-to-conduit with the use of locking cover plate. The RS82-EZ speaker comes including a ceramic terminal input capable of accepting up to 10 gauge plenum rated signal wire and a 6 position tap switch along with transformer bypass position, as well as a 16 ohm impedance intended for making the daisy chaining in low voltage systems easy. The RS82-EZ is suitable for use in voice alarm applications subject to EU regulations EN60849 and BS5839-8. Hanging hardware, terminal weather boot, and cover plate are included.
