The SoundTube IPD-SM52-EZ comes in two color variants: IPD-SM52-EZ-BK Speaker in Black and IPD-SM52-EZ-WH Speaker in White. It is an economical solution that is professionally designed for integrators who are in need of a surface-mount indoor or outdoor speaker option that they can use in either music and paging applications. The speaker comes incorporating a dedicated 5.25 inch polypropylene woofer and an offset 1 inch soft dome tweeter along with Waveguide™ making it capable for delivering a superb intelligibility that is intended for background to foreground music and messaging (up to 100.0 dB max. SPL). SoundTube's proprietary BroadBeam Ring™ technology in all models is ensuring the high intelligibility, even well off-axis. Enclosures for the SM52-EZ are ported, it also comes with port plugs included intended for its outdoor use; grilles and mounting hardware are powder coated aluminum. With its 32 watt transformer and 6 position tap switch, the SM52-EZ is built capable of offering 25.5 V, 70.7 V and 100 V operation with an 8 ohm bypass. Inputs are made with the use of ceramic terminal strips, those are what make these speakers suitable for European voice evacuation systems. A safety cable, wall mount bracket, conduit connector and port hole plug are all included.
