TANNOY CVS 4 MICRO 4" Coaxial In-Ceiling Loudspeaker with Shallow Back Can for Installation Applications (CVS 4 MICRO)
The CVS 4 MICRO is a shallow back can ceiling loudspeaker, delivering 160 Watts of compact yet robust audio performance suitable for various settings like restaurants, hotels, houses of worship, and diverse business environments. Its capabilities in power handling, frequency response, and low distortion emulate those of a studio reference monitor rather than a standard ceiling loudspeaker. The sound it produces is warm, carrying nuanced and crystal-clear clarity that immerses the listener without being intrusive.
Exceptional Sound and Reliability
The CVS 4 MICRO boasts a 100 mm (4.00") mid-bass driver with a coaxially mounted 19 mm (0.75") high-frequency section housed in a vented, paintable front baffle made from UV/weather-resistant UL94V-0 ABS material. Its mineral-loaded polypropylene cone and nitrile rubber surround ensure durability and long-term reliability. With a shallow back can depth of less than 4" (98.3 mm), this speaker is an ideal fit for scenarios where space above the ceiling is restricted, yet exceptional sound quality and reliability are essential
Comprehensive Installation Package
The CVS 4 MICRO comes with an integral zinc-plated steel shallow back can, including a recessed termination box, addressing most installation application needs. Its removable locking connector features secure screw terminals for wire termination and a “loop through” capability. Additionally, strain relief is ensured via a clamping mechanism suitable for plenum-rated cables or conduits. The inclusion of security toggle clamps enables swift and easy installation, complemented by two tile support rails and one C-ring within the package. Furthermore, an optional plaster (mud) ring is available as an accessory for added customization.
