Williams Sound DLR-400-ALK Digi-Wave receiver, 400 version

The versatile and easy-to-use alkaline-powered DLR 400 ALK Digi-Wave wireless receiver offers an economical solution for inclusive listening in various settings such as training sessions, presentations, tours, educational environments, and healthcare facilities. This receiver is designed for use with a Digi-Wave 400 system (sold separately) and incorporates the same DSS frequency-hopping technology utilized in cell phones. This technology ensures a secure and interference-free communication method.

By using DSS, the receiver transmits within the 2.4 GHz ISM band, rapidly and randomly switching frequencies. This capability helps it avoid common wireless disruptions and makes it extremely challenging for unauthorized parties to eavesdrop.

The sleek front panel features four buttons for volume and listening group selection, as well as a power button (requiring 2 AAA batteries), and an LCD screen for easy viewing of settings and status. The unit provides a single 3.5mm output for headphones, earphones, or a neck loop (all sold separately) and functions as a listen-only device that must be used as part of a larger system. The systems can support up to six simultaneous speakers and an unlimited number of listeners, with the ability to configure for two-way or one-way communication depending on the application.
