AVID HD Madi I/O For Pro Tools/HD
The Avid HD MADI digital audio interface is professionally designed allowing the integration of Pro Tools HD into broadcast and post-production environments, and anywhere in which MADI-equipped devices are in use. HD MADI comes supporting Pro Tools HD's 24-bit, 192 kHz audio quality. The interface is giving you the ability of sending and receiving up to 64 audio streams between Pro Tools HD and MADI devices, from a distance of up to 1.24 miles (2 km).
There's no need to match sample rates during the time of using the HD MADI, because it comes with built-in sample-rate conversion (SRC). Its comes with dedicated BNC Wordclock and XLR AES/EBU connections that are giving you the capability to sync to an external clock by the time the SRC is being used on output. HR MADI's versatile clock support includes Internal, Loop Sync, Word Clock, AES/EBU, and MADI, that makes the synchronization easy.
HD MADI's I/O comes featuring two sets of MADI ins and outs on optical connectors, two sets of MADI coaxial in and out on BNC connectors, two primary DigiLink ports, a single AES/EBU port on a single female XLR. There are also 2 SRC Wordclock In ports, and Wordclock in and out, all on BNC connectors.
