With this Blackmagic Design BMD-HYPERD/AXLRMINI2, also called the Blackmagic's XLR Cables, you have given the ability to plug in two XLR microphones or line inputs to your Blackmagic Video Assist 4K Monitor/Recorder for quality audio recording, it is best use whenever you found yourself tired of dealing with automatic gain control or poor audio from your DSLR camera.

The Video Assist 4K comes along with two balanced female mini XLR ports that are capable to support 48V phantom power so you are able plug in any standard 3-pin XLR microphone. Each cable comes with a male mini 3-pin XLR connector and a female standard 3-pin XLR connector, and they are each 19.5" long.
