JBL CSM-32 3 x 2 Stereo/Mono Public Address Mixer

The JBL® Commercial CSM-32 is offering mono operation or full stereo, fixed I/O, flexible control and routing of multiple audio sources, pre-configured architecture, simple front-panel configuration and control without the need for a computer, compatibility with the CSPM paging microphones, optional duplication of audio channels to another device via a Cat5 cable and compatibility with the CSR wall controllers.

The JBL CSM-32 also features stereo music inputs with clip LEDs and gain control, and two stereo outputs with dedicated subwoofer and active crossovers outputs.

For music override purpose there are two additional inputs that are also provided. The first one is a line input that allows high-priority routing to all zones, which is ideal for alarms. The another one is a mic input with gain control and phantom power whihc are allowing page steering to different zones, ducking the music by a user-configurable amount.

For the connection of a music-only mono output, an additional transformer-isolated mono output is also provided making it ideal for music-on-hold systems.

Dedicated controls for global mic EQ and for music EQ per zone are allowing the frequency content of each input type to be independently customized. LevelGuard™ is provided, in each output channel, for retaining consistent volumes between the various inputs, and AutoWarmth™ is also provided for ensuring full idelity at all zone volume levels.

Zone Remote ports 1 and 2 facilitate connection of the CSR wall controllers, which can provide volume control and/or source selection in each output zone. Mic level per zone, Source select per zone and music level per zone can also be controlled on the front panel. For additional control, two logic inputs facilitate page steering and music muting via contact closure.

Two RJ-45 Link ports allow multiple CSM devices to be linked to increase the number of output zones. Linking CSM devices shares the inputs from the main devices over Cat5 cable and eliminates the need for Y-cables.

An included security plate can be placed over the front panel controls to avoid uninvited changes to a commissioned system.
