Earthworks M30BX Battery Operated M30 w/built-in preamp - 9Hz to 30kHz (mic clip & ADP2 adapter included)
The Microphone M30BX Powered with battery developed by Earthworks is a measurement microphone comes with an omni-directional polar pattern for on-site acoustical measurements like loudspeaker design sound system setup & room acoustics, quality control, troubleshooting, or other applications where a free-field measurement microphone is needed & a power source is unavailable.
The M30BX body opens for access to a replaceable battery which will power the unit for 300 hours of operation. The M30BX needs a 6V lithium battery (included) or four LR44 alkaline batteries. The battery is automatically powered On or Off when the XLR connection is inserted or removed, eliminating the need for a power switch and preserving battery life. Featuring a flat frequency response that extends from 9 Hz to 30 kHz, the M30BX microphone is equipped with a fast impulse response and linear phase response. The M30BX makes it suitable to be used with high-quality FFT-based real-time audio system measurement software like SMAART, Electroacoustics Toolbox, SIM, REW, FuzzMeasure, and others, as well as for use in PA system alignment and loudspeaker design.
Additionally, every M30BX Battery-Powered Measurement Microphone is individually hand-tuned and tested and includes a 1/2" calibrator adapter, an XLR to RCA adapter, and an MC3 microphone clip.
