FW730/HC-TPB Hypercardioid 7 ft model with tripod base - 20Hz to 30kHz in black only

The FW730 FlexWand Series 30 kHz High Definition Cardioid Microphone designed by Earthworks incorporates a highly sensitive 30 kHz FlexWand microphone, built into a height adjustable gooseneck stand. The FW730/HC-TPB microphone is low-profile, sleek, easy to set up and reproduces audio with massive detail. The integrated stand is height adjustable. You can adjust it from 7' to 1.5' (2.13m to 45cm) with no exposed cables for creating noise or tension.

Setting up the microphone is easy, simply connect microphone cables (sold separately) to the base and you are ready to go. Earthwork's patented high definition microphone technology accurately reproduces frequencies that increase subtleties and detail. This FW730TPBmp microphone is the perfect choice for crucial recording applications, sound design, performance capturing, speech applications, and much more.

  • Hypercardioid polar pattern
  • Frequency response of 30 Hz to 30 kHz
  • Near perfect polar response
  • For applications requiring a tighter pickup pattern with greater off-axis rejection
  • Large flex section near the center of the stand that couples the stand and the wand
  • Mini-gooseneck between the end of the wand and the microphone head
  • The combination of a mid-flex section and the mini flex on the wand provide an infinite combination of placement options between 1.5' and 7'
  • Substantial improvement in gain before feedback
  • The near perfect polar response of the FlexWand allows the use of fewer microphones on choir, with better sound quality, no spotlighting and incredible rejection of sounds from the rear of the microphone
  • Ideal for miking individual orchestra instruments such as violins and cellos, as well as acoustic guitars and instrument amplifiers
