The Electro Voice ULM21 is a rugged lavalier microphone designed with a directional pickup pattern. The small size and pickup pattern is helping for the reduction of feedback and improve sound quality.

The Electro Voice ULM21 is a cardioid condenser lavalier microphone comes featuring a TA4-female connection that is capable to use along with the Electro Voice RE-1 and RE-2 series of wireless microphone transmitters. The cardioid polar pattern is best use for minimizing noise and ambiance at the off-axis sections of the microphone capsule. Resulting in a high gain-before-feedback response when it is in use near the speakers and monitors and minimal general noise.
