The black IM Series IM6B High Definition 6" Gooseneck Microphone designed by Earthworks is to capture audio and can be used in fixed sound installations for audio applications such as government facilities, teleconferencing, lecture halls, surveillance, boardrooms, ambient room miking, and more. This high definition series can be mounted in a ceiling, table or wall and offers an excellent quality of sound, flexibility & ease of installation.

The IM6B is featured with a cardioid polar pattern and has a frequency response of 30 Hz to 30 kHz. The microphone is powered by 48V phantom power. It is also built with a small head and flexible mini-gooseneck that permit it to be precisely positioned after installation. This mic is featured with a uniform frequency response at 0, 45 and 90°. The polar response permits the use of fewer microphones, while obtaining higher intelligibility and more gain before feedback. Additionally, you also have more sound level before feedback, no spotlighting or highlighting, and more rejection of sounds from the rear of the microphone. The IM series provides a low profile, pristine sounding microphone solution for permanent installations.
