The Point Source Audio CO-8WS-XSK Series8 Omnidirectional Ear-worn Microphone (Sennheiser SK and Zaxcom) is professionally designed intended for use in live sound reinforcement applications where ambient noise is low to moderate such as for public speaking, plays, and concerts. The microphone is possible to fit over either the subject's left or right ear and comes featuring a 360° bendable and unbreakable boom along with an omnidirectional back electret microphone element. The IP57 waterproof rating is made to help in the prevention of having the makeup, moisture, or sweat from interfering with the sound.

The microphone is also made capable to handle a maximum SPL of 148 dB that comes along with a sensitivity of -54 dB ±3 dB (0 dB= 1V/microbar at 1 kHz) and a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz. The unit comes with a clothing clip, windscreen, storage box, a 4' cable, and also comes with an interchangeable LEMO-style 3-pin connector designed for use in Sennheiser SK and Zaxcom systems.
