The AW526 is a high-power, lightweight, 2-way, full-range loudspeaker system that integrates JBL's Differential Drive technology. It features a dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap 2265H-1 15-inch low-frequency driver and a 2432H high-frequency compression driver with a 1.5-inch exit and 3-inch voice coil. The system's large-format Progressive Transition waveguide delivers excellent 120° x 60° coverage and is rotatable, allowing the loudspeaker to be used in either vertical or horizontal orientation. Designed for flexibility and durability, the AW526 is equipped with a 400W 70/100V transformer. The heavy-duty weather-treated U-type mounting bracket ensures easy installation on flat surfaces or in 90° corners. The enclosure is constructed from multilayer glass composite and heavily braced to enhance low-frequency performance. Protection is further ensured by a 14-gauge stainless steel grille, which is backed by open-cell foam and stainless steel mesh, making it suitable for harsh environments. As part of JBL’s AE Series, the AW526 is a versatile loudspeaker designed for a wide variety of applications, providing reliable and high-quality audio performance in any setting.
