With the KORG ODS OVERDRIVE KIT you are made capable to build your own custom effects pedal from scratch. With this you can experience the fun of DIY by easily building and customizing your own overdrive pedal; without having to worry about the soldering, it is not required! Furthermore, the OD-S is equipped along with a powerful Nu:tube fully analog triode vacuum tube intended for a warm sound and rich harmonic response that will delight all guitarists.

Authentic tube sound

Nutube is a new and revolutionary fully analog triode vacuum tube professionally developed by KORG INC. and Noritake Itron Corporation. The same as a conventional vacuum tube, Nutube is carefully constructed along with an anode, grid and filament, and is capable of operating as a complete triode tube, effectively is generating the same performance response and rich harmonic characteristics of conventional vacuum tubes in a more stable, compact and energy-efficient way.

Plenty of sonic possibilities

The OD-S comes along with 2 GAIN knobs. In addition to adjusting the input level to the vacuum tube (GAIN), the anode load of the vacuum tube amplification circuit are possible to be changed with the use of the TUBE GAIN. This is allowing you to accurately adjust the sound from the vacuum tube to your liking.

The OD-S also comes capable of incorporating a switch that is letting you to choose between 2 different overdrive types (with different Low - High ranges) along with True Bypass; that what makes it an ideal pedal designed for live performances. For advanced users who want to customize their tone further, the modification-friendly layout is made for allowing you to change out discrete components for creating your own unique pedal capable of matching your desired tone and performance.
