The Black 4060-OC-C-B56 comes with Microdot Connector. It is a professionally created miniature, moisture-resistant lavalier microphone that's carefully designed for use along with wireless systems for theatrical, performance and broadcast applications. The electret-condenser capsule is intended to deliver a clear, crisp, and intelligible speech, and also the rugged yet unobtrusive design is made very well suited to the demands of professional live stage presentations and work.

This version of the 4060 is made using the DPA's CORE technology to be capable to deliver a 6 dB increase in dynamic range and also a 6 dB reduction in noise over the 4060 Legacy model. Two interchangeable capsule also comes included for having protection grids that capable to alter the sonic character of the mic. The High-Boost Grid is creating a peak at 12 kHz, which is very helpful for chest placement, while the Soft-Boost Grid is intended for offering a subtle boost between 8 to 20 kHz, that surely lightly enhancing the signal presence for ensuring the clarity.

It comes with an SPL rating of 134 dB, the microphone is made more than capable of handling most standard presenters, vocalists, and speakers. The mic is also possible to be used very effectively for capturing instruments—which makes it a flexible tool for use in houses-of-worship and live event productions. The 4060 CORE is powered by 5 to 10V plug-in power from a wireless transmitter and also comes featuring a modular design with the use of a Microdot output connector. This version includes a TA5F adapter compatible with select Lectrosonics transmitters.
