The, Black, DPA 4071-OC-C-B56 is a professionally designed moisture-resistant, miniature lavalier microphone that's carefully created for use with wireless systems for performance, theatrical and broadcast applications. Equipped with low-sensitivity electret-condenser capsule that is made for working along with low-voltage wireless transmitters capable of handling loud speakers, performers and vocalists and deliver clear, intelligible and crisp audio. The rugged yet unobtrusive design is created very-well suited to the demands of professional presentations and live stage work.

This version of the 4071 is made using DPA's CORE technology capable of delivering a 4 dB increase in dynamic range and a 12 dB reduction in noise over the 4071 Legacy model. The mic comes featuring a fixed protective EQ grid that comes along with a low-cut filter at 100 Hz and a high-boost of approximately +5 dB in the 4 to 6 kHz range. This EQ curve is made for giving the mic an improved clarity that's vital for use in chest-placement, that makes the 4071 popular for use by journalists and news crews.

Equipped along with an SPL rating of 144 dB, the microphone is created more than capable of handling loud vocalists, speakers and presenters. The 4071 CORE is made powered by 5 to 10V plug-in power from a wireless transmitter and also comes featuring a modular design with the use of a Microdot output connector. This version includes a TA5F adapter compatible with Lectrosonics wireless microphone transmitters.
