The Black/Beige DPA 4661 CORE is a professionally designed moisture-resistant miniature lavalier microphone that comes along with heavy-duty construction that's carefully created for use along with wireless systems intended for theatrical, broadcast and performance applications. The low-sensitivity electret-condenser capsule is capable to handle loud performers, vocalists and speakers and it is also created to deliver a intelligible, crisp and clear audio, and the rugged yet unobtrusive design is made very well suited to the demands of professional live stage work and presentations at the same time.

The 4661 is professionally built along with a thicker 2.2mm cable, stainless-steel housing and reinforced strain relief that enables the mic for withstanding the rough conditions is a variety of difficult working environments. The capsule is using the DPA's CORE technology for delivering a 6 dB increase in dynamic range and a 6 dB reduction in noise over the 4661 Legacy model.
