The Lectrosonics DCHT-B1C1 is a professional wireless digital camera hop transmitter designed for broadcast, film, and television production. It provides a dependable wireless connection between a sound bag or cart and cameras or recorders, making it well suited for demanding location audio applications. Operating across the 537–662 MHz UHF range, the DCHT-B1C1 offers both coarse and fine frequency tuning along with 256-bit encryption for secure wireless transmission. Three selectable RF output levels—10, 25, and 50 mW—allow users to optimize transmission power for different production environments and operating distances. The transmitter features a high-quality preamplifier with support for lavalier and dynamic microphones as well as line-level sources. Input gain is adjustable by up to 51 dB in 1 dB increments, allowing precise matching to the connected audio source. A DSP-controlled input limiter helps protect against overload while maintaining clean, low-distortion audio. A locking TA6M input connector accepts either two channels of analog microphone/line-level audio or a stereo AES3 digital signal when used with the appropriate cable adapter. The DCHT-B1C1 operates for up to five hours on two AA batteries, with external DC power also supported through the optional LTBATELIM adapter. Built for professional field use, the transmitter features a rugged machined aluminum housing with an ultra-hard electroless nickel finish. A detachable wire belt clip provides flexible mounting options, while the latching aluminum battery door helps keep the batteries securely in place during production.
