Chamsys GeNetix GW2O US 2 port Wall Mount Node DMX Out Ports

The GeNetix Wall Mount Node 2 is a PoE powered wall mount node with two ports that can be mounted in conventional single gang backboxes in the US, UK, and Europe. Both versions support both DMX Input and Output and come with physical RDM Direct DMX ports that are male or female. With compatibility for both Art-Net and sACN, and the ability to be configured via its built-in web server, Art-Net, or ChamSys terminals, GeNetix Wall Mount Node 2 is perfect for any fixed installation.

GeNetix Protocols

Industry-standard lighting protocols such as Art-Net V1,2,3, and 4, sACN (with universe-specific priority), and Remote Device Management (RDM) are supported by GeNetix network nodes. With regard to refresh rate, break time, frame time, and MAB, DMX timings are completely customizable.

DMX Fallback

Fixtures on a single universe can be looped over to two ports on the GeNetix node for redundancy thanks to DMX Fallback. All fixtures are still capable of receiving DMX even if one cable breaks anywhere in the DMX loop. You can configure individual ports to fallback, input, or output. Both within a GeNetix node and across several GeNetix nodes, DMX Fallback is enabled.

Merging

GeNetix nodes boast merging capabilities that can be tailored for each port, offering a range of options: None, HTP, LTP, Lowest IP address, and Highest IP address. When configured with HTP, the node prioritizes the highest level received from all sources for each channel within the universe. Alternatively, LTP mode ensures that the node utilizes data from the latest source for each channel, switching only when a change in value occurs or the initial source times out. Notably, LTP merging is limited to a maximum of two sources. Additionally, when set to Highest or Lowest IP address, the node merges universes based on data from the source with the respective highest or lowest IP address. For instance, assigning a very low IP address to a house system and employing "highest IP" merging allows incoming consoles to take precedence over the house system, illustrating the node's adaptable prioritization capabilities.

Scenes

GeNetix nodes support storage of 10 Scenes that can be recorded from the incoming Art-Net or sACN data. Scenes contain DMX data for one or more ports on the node. Scenes can be replayed from either the node front panel, from the MagicQ / QuickQ Console, via the webserver or via 10Scene wall plates on the GN5 & GN10 Nodes.

Node Configuration

Configuring the GeNetix network nodes can be done from PCs, MagicQ consoles, and QuickQ consoles. Additionally, a web server can be used to configure them all. It is also possible to configure nodes that have a front panel from the front panel. Additionally, GeNetix nodes enable a lock PIN to guard against configuration modifications from the GeNetix front panel.
