Meyer Sound MJF-208-RMS-3 Active Stage Monitor

The MJF series is boasting flat amplitude and phase responses, full-range bandwidth, and exceptional impulse response, that comes along with Meyer Sound’s own Intelligent AC system for automatic voltage selection, EMI filtering, soft current turn-on, and surge suppression.

Ultra-low distortion is designed for giving vocals and instruments stunning accuracy, along with low distortion and no signal coloration at high output levels and at low frequencies. Even vertical and horizontal coverage is allowing the performer for moving freely and remaining in the sweet spot at the same time.

All components are being made optimized for working seamlessly in a robust, reliable system that is capable to withstands the rigors of touring. Units come with a durable finish, a protective metal grille, and protective bottom rubber strips.

The MJF-208 compact stage monitor is designed for bringing the same high intelligibility and low-frequency headroom of Meyer Sound’s acclaimed MJF line of stage monitors to a lighter, more portable cabinet. The MJF-208 monitor is made for offering the self-powered advantages of simplified setup, operation, and consistent stage-to-stage sound, while occupying a fraction of the truck space of similar monitors that requires external amplification.

The MJF-208’s 55Hz to 18kHz frequency range is phase-corrected, that ensuring the vocals and instruments are reproduced accurately along with low distortion and no signal coloration. The flat phase and frequency response yield exceptional pattern control, minimizing interactions that comes with nearby microphones and yielding high gain before feedback.

The MJF-208’s durable, vented enclosure comes housing two 8-inch high-power low-frequency drivers, as well as a 3-inch diaphragm compression driver partnered to a constant-directivity horn. The dual-driver design that comes with optimized crossover and extremely accurate horn is delivering an extended headroom and symmetrical coverage not possible along with other wedge monitor designs. The MJF-208 need not be purchased in matched pairs by the time it is deploying left-right configurations. The 70-degree horizontal by 50-degree vertical horn is made for providing an optimal coverage in smaller spaces that can’t accommodate a large number of monitors.

The low-profile cabinet slopes 35 degrees from the stage to preserve audience sight lines. Drivers are made being powered by a 3-channel, class D amplifier. The Intelligent AC™ power supply is providing automatic voltage selection, EMI filtering, soft current turn-on, and surge suppression.

MJF loudspeakers work along with Meyer Sound’s RMS™ remote monitoring system, which is capable of providing an comprehensive monitoring of system parameters from a Mac® or Windows®-based computer.
