Bose ControlSpace General Purpose (GPIO) Card II is designed especially to use for card-frame ControlSpace engineered sound processors to expand the number of standard general purpose output/input ports. The GPIO card II can augments the pre-installed GPIO card and be inserted into the available GPIO 2 slot by adding eight additional control outputs and eight additional control inputs on a second card. Each input is configurable to allow switches/contact closures (to select block states or invoke parameter sets) and external control from hardware such as potentiometers (to control gain). Outputs can be used directly with LEDs and relays or used to trigger digital equipment.
