The Point Source Audio CO2-8WD-XLE is a professionally designed Dual-Element Omnidirectional Headset Microphone that pairs two microphone elements into a single housing for creating a low-profile headset and a sleek form factor microphone. It is possible to be used for capturing the audio and it comes capable of offering an built-in microphone redundancy designed for wireless transmitters in theater, broadcast, live stage, and speech applications.

The CO2-8WD's dual elements are created factory matched to a almost identical ±0.5 dB difference and both elements are featuring IP57 waterproof rated. This headset is carefully built along with an unbreakable boom that is capable to be bend 360°. The microphone cable is splitting the approximately 9" above the connection to the bodypack which allowing for ample room intended for use in separation of the transmitters. In addition, the mic comes equipped along with a 6' cable that is capable of terminating with two 5-pin mini X-Connectors intended for Lectrosonics transmitters.
