Presonus PX-1 Large Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The PX-1 designed by PreSonus is a large-diaphragm studio condenser microphone designed for podcasts, recording vocals, and instruments such as guitar and piano. The PX-1 gold-sputtered capsule feeds low-noise circuitry including an internal Class-A FET pre-amp, yielding a 20 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response for wideband clarity.
The cardioid polar pattern minimizes the pickup of ambient, off-axis sound, permitting it to deliver intelligible direct sound in rooms that lack acoustic treatment. Thanks to its rugged construction and balanced XLR output, the PX-1 is ready to be used in homes, project studios, and mobile recording rigs.
