The Primacoustic MaxTrap is professionally designed as an attractive 24" x 48" broadband acoustical absorber created specifically for use in corners capable of providing bass frequency control, and simultaneously capable to reduce the mid and high frequency reflections at the same time. Shipped flat in kit form for saving the freight, the MaxTrap comes featuring an easy to assemble wood frame with the use of regular household tools.

Working like a 3-way speaker in reverse, the MaxTrap comes employing the 3 acoustic principles in one device. High frequencies are absorbed along with a fabric covered 3" thick high-density fiberglass panel, and at the same time behind the panel is a 16" deep open air space for reducing the low-mid and bass frequencies. Bass down to 65Hz is absorbed by a heavy, dead mass in the form of a diaphragmatic membrane.

With the use of MaxTraps in a room comes providing a tighter, more accurate bass, reduced flutter echo, and is helping along with the elimination the troublesome standing waves that cause nulls and peaks. The listening "sweet spot" will also enlarge and recordings translate accurately by the time it is played in different rooms and audio playback systems.
