Sennheiser MKH 40-P48 RF microphone (cardioid, condenser) with switchable -10 dB pad
A pressure gradient condenser microphone is MKH 40 P 48 is designed for remote recording, sound reinforcement, instrument capturing, group and choir capturing and speech. The Sennheiser MKH 40’s capsule features symmetrical transducers technology that ensures extremely low distortion, and its wide-angle cardioid polar pattern provides balanced sound reproduction.
The reverse attenuation of the Sennheiser MKH 40 P 48 ensures maximum rejection of off-axis, creating an exceptional control of the captured ambiance. Additionally the MKH 40 P 48 features a low frequency roll-off switch, to minimize rumble and noise, also it has a switchable pre-attenuation that creates an additional 10 dB of headroom, preventing distortion and overload caused by transient signals at close proximity.
Sennheiser MKH 40 P 48 has a switchable bass attenuation (-4 dB @ 50 Hz), V 48 phantom power and 3-pin XLR-M. Includes (1) MZQ 40 quick-release clip, (1) MZS 40 shockmount and (1) MZW 41 windscreen (22.0 oz)
