SD-1G-ABG SolidDrive SD-1 Glass Surface Mount Actuator in Anodized Black Glass
The SD1g is designed capable of attaching to glass and other non-porous surfaces with the use of a double-sided adhesive disk (included). Each SD1g is professionally designed for one channel of audio. An optional equilization module is made for optimizing the SD1g for use on glass. The SolidDrive comes utilizing the patent-pending dual-voice coil technology in an aluminum enclosure for transfering the acoustic energy to any substrate that comes along with very high-powered neodymium magnets and dual symmetrically opposed motors for converting the audio signals into powerful vibrations. Those vibrations are then transferred into solid surfaces through direct contact. High-quality, full-range sound is then radiated from the entire surface that comes with a frequency response of 60 Hz to 15 kHz. The symmetrically opposed neodymium magnets and specifically engineered mounting hardware results in hidden planar-source acoustics. The result is acoustical uniformity throughout the listening space.
