The Universal Audio USBSATO-C UAD-2 Satellite USB - OCTO Core is a DSP accelerator designed for allowing the access of UAD plug-ins within any DAW software running on USB 3.0-equipped Windows computers. This stand-alone DSP accelerator is powered by four SHARC processors, and capable of providing extensive plug-in instantiation for large mixes without using extensively the host computer, and at the same time it's also capable to deliver world-class analog emulation.
The company's DSP engineers work with the original hardware manufacturers in creating the UAD plug-ins, they've used their best units and exact schematics, for delivering the experience of processing audio with classic analog equipment. The USB 3.0 SuperSpeed technology and accelerator's SHARC processors are offering reduced plug-in latency comparable to that of FireWire 800.
The Universal Audio USBSATO-C UAD-2 Satellite USB - OCTO Core includes the Analog Classics plug-in bundle which comes with the UA 610-B Preamp and EQ, along with Legacy editions of the LA-2A Classic Audio Leveler, Fairchild 670 Tube Limiter, 1176LN / 1176SE Classic Limiting Amplifier, Precision Mix Rack Collection, Pultec Pro Equalizer, RealVerb Pro plug-ins, and UA Precision Enhancer Hz.
