Teradek 10-0641 Cubelet 605/625 HDSDI/HDMI AVC Encoder/Decoder Pair
This Teradek 10-0641, also known as Cubelet 605 Encoder with 625 Decoder bundle, is a professionally designed full point-to point video streaming solution. To use, just attach the Cube 605 Encoder to your HD or SD video source by using an HDMI or SDI, and it will automatically encode it into an H.264 stream prior to broadcasting. The Cube 605 is capable to be networked with the use of the hardwired Ethernet or USB with an LTE modem. On the other end, the Cube 625 is possible to decode the H.264-encoded signal by using Ethernet or USB, and is capable to output an uncompressed HDMI or SDI signal intended for use in monitoring the streaming feed. A hard case that comes with foam cutouts is included for use in storing both Cubes along with the small essentials included with both Cube units.
Teradek Cube 605 H.264 HD Encoder
The Teradek Cube 605 is a professionally designed real-time H.264 encoder that comes along with 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs. It is capable to encode up to 1080p video at bit rates up to 15 Mbps, which is allowing for having a high-quality images to be streamed over Ethernet or USB. When bandwidth is limited, adaptive bit rate allows the Cube to automatically adjust and stream at the highest quality possible. The Cube 605 can ingest up to 1080p60 signals, but outputs them at a frame rate of 30 fps (or lower, per your selection), for a max output of 1080p30.
Cube 605 features support for 33-point 3D LUTs, as well as Pomfort LiveGrade integration that lets you monitor graded footage on the set or afterwards. Looks can be applied to the stream or controlled separately using the free Teradek TeraView app (iOS). Cube also offers support for USB modems for streaming video live over cellular networks.
Cube 605 has an SD card slot that enables you to record the stream for post-production, in which case the recording bit rate and resolution match the encoded stream quality. The Cube 605 also has a configurable test pattern generator that lets you test your stream without connecting a video source, and prevents interruptions if video sync is lost.
You can monitor the video stream on up to six networked iOS devices simultaneously using the Teradek TeraView or VUER app, or six Android devices using the Teradek VLC app, or a mix-and-match of six to accommodate both iOS and Android users. This allows clients, the crew, and the director to see the footage at the same time in real time.
Cube 605 has a robust aluminum housing and an OLED display with joystick navigation buttons. It is manufactured in the USA.

Alternately, the Cube 625 can be used in a remote studio location as a receiver of a point-to-point IP stream over Ethernet or USB modem.
