The Audix OM6 is tested, designed and assembled as a dynamic vocal microphone that is used widely in different variety of broadcast, studio, and live applications. The Audix OM6 is made is name known for its broad frequency response, full-bodied and articulate sound reproduction, feedback's resistance and capable of handling the high sound pressure levels in excess of 144 dB with no distortion. The Audix OM6 is characterized with a tight and uniformly controlled hypercardioid polar pattern which is helping for the isolation of the vocals from the rest of the instruments on stage. The Audix OM6 as equipped with a wide frequency range of 40 Hz - 19 kHz, is capable of employing a VLM™ (Very Low Mass) diaphragm for a natural and clean sound with exceptional transient response. The Audix OM6 response is custom-made with condenser-like qualities; a smooth rising response between 2k Hz - 10 kHz along with a fully and flat extended bass response from 60 Hz - 1 kHz. This, in conjunction with an extremely articulate mid-range is making the Audix OM6 an excellent choice for live and broadcast recording applications. The Audix OM6 is comfortable to hold, balanced, and designed with high tolerances and high standards. The Audix OM6 is manufactured with durable black E-coat finish, precision die cast zinc alloy body, dent resistant steel mesh grill and gold plated XLR connector.
