The AW266 is a high-power, lightweight, 2-way, full-range loudspeaker system featuring JBL's advanced Differential Drive technology. It includes a dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap 2262H 12-inch low-frequency driver and a 2432H high-frequency compression driver with a 1.5-inch exit and 3-inch voice coil. The system's large-format Progressive Transition waveguide ensures excellent 60° x 60° coverage and can be oriented either vertically or horizontally. Constructed from multilayer glass composite with extensive bracing, the AW266 maximizes low-frequency performance. Its 14-gauge stainless steel grille, backed by open-cell foam and stainless steel mesh, provides superior protection in harsh environments. The loudspeaker system is equipped with a 400W 70/100V transformer for versatile power handling. The included heavy-duty weather-treated U-type mounting bracket facilitates easy installation on flat surfaces or in 90° corners. As part of JBL’s AE Series, the AW266 is designed for a wide range of applications, offering reliable performance and durability in any setting.
