Radial Catapult TX4M 4ch transmitter, balanced i/o, mic-level transformers, uses shielded cat-5
The Radial Catapult TX4M is a four-channel snake professionally designed for routing the four channels of mic-level signal across long distances with the use of the shielded Cat5/Cat6 cable, you can do that without even worrying about signal degradation. The Radial Catapult TX4M is perfectly useful in live-sound reinforcement applications, because it is allowing the live sound stage techs to use relatively affordable cable for securing the quality audio connections around large venues and stages. It’s also suitable for system contractors who can now employs pre-wired networks for moving audio throughout disparate rooms.
The Radial Catapult TX4M is capable of giving you four XLR input jacks, as well as four XLR transformer-balanced through-outputs enhanced for mic-level signal. You can run phantom power using the snake just by using the shielded Cat5 cable. You’ll also note the two RJ45-type etherCON connections. One is an output, for use with the RX4M on the receiving end. The other is a throughput, and can be implementing in routing signal to additional Catapults. In total, you'll have the ability to split and route mic-level signal to three different locations.
