The DPA Microphones d:fine 4166 is designed as a flexible miniature microphone solution that comes featuring a very quick and easy adjustment possibilities. This particular model DPA 4166-OL-F-F10-ME comes with a fixed TA-4F Mini-XLR connector for PGX1, TOA & Line 6 wireless systems.

The DPA 4166-OL-F-F10-ME d:fine 4166 is combining the legendary sound of the d:fine 4066 Omnidirectional Capsule designed with a flexible and lightweight earset system. This condenser mic created to be adjusted easily and quickly and it is offering a clean, transparent sound quality with lots of headroom. The capsule itself is the same type as the d:fine 4066, but is attached to an interchangeable boom arm. Like all d:fine microphones, the DPA 4166-OL-F-F10-ME 4166 Omnidirectional Earset Mic is offering an accurate, natural voice intelligibility and very high SPL capabilities.

The DPA 4166-OL-F-F10-ME's sensitivity is 6mV/Pa that matches the level of the human voice to the general input sensitivity of most wireless transmitters. The noise floor of the Type 4166 is 26 dB(A) re. 20 µPa and if powered correctly the microphone becomes capable of handling the sound pressure level up to 144 dM SPL before clipping occurs. A wide range of connection adapters is making it possible to use the 4166 with most of the professional wireless systems available plus 48 V phantom XLR connection.
