The Alesis Q49 MKII is a professionally designed 49-key USB/MIDI keyboard controller that comes featuring velocity-sensitive keys that are packaged in a compact and portable form. Suitable for use in both stage and studio use, the controller comes featuring assignable pitch and modulation wheels that comes along along with octave transpose buttons and a data slider.

The unit comes providing a USB-MIDI port for having an easy connection to a Mac or Windows computer, along with iOS devices that come with the addition of Apple's Camera Connection Kit (available separately). Additionally, MIDI commands are possible to be sent from the Q49's keys for changing the programs, patches, etc. The USB port also comes capable of supplying the keyboard along with power, and a USB cable is included.

To allow for performing, recording, and sequencing music right out of the box, the controller ships along with a premium software package including the Pro Tools | First Alesis Edition DAW, MPC Beats, the Melodics tutorial software, and more.
