The Audio Technica AT8492W is a Woodwind Mounting System. This Audio Technica AT8492W is designed to work with the ATM350a Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone. Audio Technica AT8492W system includes an AT8491W Woodwind Mount and AT8490 5" Gooseneck. The Audio Technica AT8492W mount features an adjustable hook-and loop fastener strap that allows it to be easily attached just above the bell of a woodwind instrument. This Audio Technica AT8492W is specially designed contact points on the base of the mount minimize damping of the instrument's resonance, while the strap's rubber pad (opposite the mount) ensures a secure fit. The best thing in Audio Technica AT8492W is a strong and flexible gooseneck, which is held securely in the mount's socket by a locking screw, the advantage is you can position the mic where you want it and holds it there, no matter how  you mive the instrument as you play.
