The Audio Technica PRO23 is a Cardioid Dynamic Mic, a cardioid instrument microphone that comes with a low-profile design for versatile placement and minimum visibility options.

The Audio Technica PRO23 is professionally designed to offer a moving coil dynamic design with cardioid polar pattern that makes it capable to deliver superior off-axis rejection for maximum rejection of unwanted sound, since this dynamic mics tailored for toms, snares and other highly dynamic instruments. The mic is carefully engineered to handle high SPLs and fast transients with a frequency response of 100-12,000 Hz.

The microphone is built in a rugged housing and is outfitted with an integral ¨ý"-27 threaded stand clamp. The included AT8665 drum mount screws into the stand clamp to permit mounting of the PRO 23 to the rim of a drum. A soft protective pouch is also included.
