The Audio Technica U857QLU UniLine Condenser Microphone is designed with advanced capsule design coupled with carefully engineered internal electronics, it is able to deliver consistent sound for a variety of installed applications. The Audio Technica U857QLU is the 23.74" version of U857QU, and it comes with Audio-Technica’s UniLine® line-cardioid element. The microphone is professionally created to plug directly into a panel- or desk-mounted XLRF-type connector. Its robust, ultra-flexible gooseneck is permitting an easy adjustment into desired shape and at the same time it is able to resist inadvertent repositioning. The Audio Technica U857QLU comes with a UniGuard® innovations that are offering unsurpassed immunity from radio frequency interference, and it is able to accept new interchangeable elements, available in UniLine®, hypercardioid, cardioid, and omnidirectional line cardioid polar patterns. The phantom-powered microphone also is offering an 80 Hz low-cut UniSteep® filter that is reducing the pickup of low-frequency ambient noise.
