The Audix AP42OM5A features a performance series dual-channel handheld wireless system from Audix includes the R42 2-channel diversity receiver and two H60/OM5 handheld transmitters. The R42 receiver in Audix AP42OM5A can operates on a frequency range of 522 to 554 MHz and offers one-touch auto scan searches for clear channel. The unit of the Audix AP42OM5A features an internal antenna combiner for dual antenna operation. The Audix AP42OM5A comes in a 19" rackmount chassis and includes BNC cables for front mounting antennas.  A big thanks to the one-touch sync function, this receiver easily links to the H60 handheld transmitters via infrared beam

Each handheld transmitter of the Audix AP42OM5A comes with the OM5 dynamic microphone capsule. The transmitters of the Audix AP42OM5A features a slim-line body design and durable metal housing and are compact, well-balanced and comfortable to hold. The Audix AP42OM5A has come with a soft mute switch which also serves as on and off switch when needed. The transmitter units of the Audix AP42OM5A also feature a high-contrast LCD display with group, channel and battery indicator.

 Each OM5 microphone has a uniformly controlled hypercardioid polar pattern which isolates the vocals from the rest of the instruments on stage or in a studio. They have clarity, resistance to feedback, and the ability to handle SPLs of more than 144 dB without distortion.
