The Desono DP6 Pendant Loudspeaker is a high-performance 6.5-inch pendant speaker designed to deliver exceptional audio in open architecture environments and spaces where a modern suspended loudspeaker is preferred. Combining high power handling, outstanding sensitivity, and natural sound reproduction, the DP6 is ideal for both speech reinforcement and background or foreground music in commercial settings. Engineered for installation flexibility, the DP6 features a built-in 70V/100V autoformer with support for 8-ohm low-impedance operation, making it suitable for a wide variety of distributed and conventional audio systems. Its consistent acoustic voicing allows seamless integration with other Desono C SERIES and D SERIES ceiling and surface-mount loudspeakers, ensuring uniform sound quality throughout multi-zone installations.

The loudspeaker incorporates a true coaxial driver design with separate magnets for the low-frequency and high-frequency drivers. This advanced configuration reduces distortion, improves efficiency, and delivers industry-leading sensitivity, enabling 3 dB to 6 dB higher output while requiring up to half the amplifier power of comparable loudspeakers. Installation is fast and installer-friendly thanks to an easy-access front-mounted selector switch that allows quick selection between 8-ohm and 70V/100V operation. An integrated rear cover neatly conceals wiring and suspension hardware, creating a clean, professional appearance that complements modern commercial interiors.
