The Biamp Desono SUB2400 is a powerful dual 10-inch passive subwoofer designed to deliver deep, fast, and punchy bass with exceptionally high output and low distortion. Its compact design makes it an excellent choice for venues where dance-level music and powerful low-frequency performance are required, including bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants, and taverns. The SUB2400 features two separate bandpass chambers, each equipped with a 10-inch dual-coil woofer. Combined with push-pull technology, this configuration delivers impressive output from a relatively compact enclosure while significantly reducing distortion. The use of smaller 10-inch woofers also contributes to a faster and more responsive bass character compared with larger 15-inch or 18-inch subwoofer designs. This makes the SUB2400 particularly well suited to music applications where tight, energetic and impactful bass is essential. The SUB2400 offers selectable 4-ohm or 16-ohm operation using the large switch on the rear panel. The 16-ohm setting is particularly beneficial for long cable runs, helping reduce power losses while maintaining strong bass performance. It also allows multiple SUB2400 cabinets to be incorporated into a system. For a complete high-output system, the SUB2400 can be combined with MASK6 or MASK8 loudspeakers and the CHAMP-4 four-channel digital amplifier.
