The Desono DX-IC4 In-Ceiling Loudspeaker is the most compact model in the Desono DX ceiling loudspeaker range, delivering impressive performance in a space-saving design. Despite its small size, it incorporates the same advanced technologies found in its larger counterparts, making it an excellent choice for paging, background music, speech reinforcement, and as a complement to larger distributed audio systems. Designed to provide exceptionally uniform coverage and clear, natural sound, the DX-IC4 ensures consistent audio performance across commercial environments such as offices, retail stores, hospitality venues, educational facilities, and public spaces. Its uniform acoustic voicing allows it to integrate seamlessly with other Desono DX ceiling and surface-mount loudspeakers, maintaining balanced sound quality throughout multi-zone installations.

The DX-IC4 features a true coaxial driver design with separate magnets for the low-frequency and high-frequency drivers. This advanced configuration reduces distortion while delivering industry-leading sensitivity, enabling 3 dB to 6 dB higher output while requiring up to half the amplifier power of comparable loudspeakers. The result is efficient, high-quality audio with excellent speech intelligibility and detailed music reproduction. Installation is fast and labour-saving thanks to patent-pending SpringLock™ clamps, which support the back can on the included tile rails and snap-on C-ring, allowing a single installer to position and secure the loudspeaker with ease. A magnetic grille provides quick access to the front-mounted 70V/100V wattage selector switch, making tap adjustments simple after installation. A range of optional installation accessories is also available to accommodate various ceiling types, making the DX-IC4 a versatile solution for a wide variety of commercial audio applications.
