The BirdDog EYES P400 comes in color variants: BDP400B for Black and BDP400W for White. The BirdDog P400 is a professionally designed full NDI 4K PTZ camera that comes featuring up to 4K30 resolution, pro-level color control, an 8.5MP Sony CMOS backlit sensor, and simultaneous 6G-SDI, HDMI, and NDI output. By the time it is paired along with a Birddog NDI encoder, the P400 is capable of providing a native 4:2:2 decoding that comes along with a 4:2:0 option that's made available for compatible receivers. Detailed 4K resolution and fast pan, zoom, tilt, and autofocus functions are designed for making the P400 ideal for use in fast-paced sports, larger indoor events, and other dynamic productions.

The P400 PTZ camera is capable of capturing the action with a fast f/2.0 20x optical zoom lens plus 12x digital zoom, and 30x SRZ (Super Resolution Zoom) in 4K and 40x SRZ in HD. Remote control also comes with options intended for the P400 include NDI, VISCA over IP, RS-422/RS-232 options in SDI, and an included IR controller. The separately available BirdDog PTZ Keyboard is possible to be used for controlling up to 255 cameras on a single network.

The P400 is possible to be used with the downloadable BirdDog Central Lite NDI stream down-converting software, Cam Control camera settings control, and Comms Lite audio intercom software. Camera setting controls like color matrix, black levels, gamma, ND filters, and more allows you to create just the look you want and share it across multiple cameras. An IR cut filter automatically switches to night mode to produce clear images in low-light settings. Power the P400 via PoE or by using the included power adapter.
