Expanding on the original Constellation 4K, this flagship live production switcher doubles the available connectivity with 80 independent 12G-SDI inputs and 48 independent 12G-SDI ISO AUX outputs, making it ideal for major broadcast facilities, sports productions, live concerts, large-scale events, and professional UHD production environments. Supporting video resolutions up to 10-bit UHD 4K60, the switcher connects to a wide range of professional cameras and video sources. Program output is delivered through 12G-SDI connections, while the USB-C webcam output provides 1080p and 720p video for streaming, conferencing, and computer-based production workflows.

Four independent multiview outputs each support up to 16 routable windows, allowing operators to simultaneously monitor video inputs, keyed sources, graphics, media pool stills, and program output for complete production visibility. Every input is connected to the integrated Fairlight audio mixer, supporting up to 298 audio channels for advanced live audio production. The switcher also includes two MADI inputs and four MADI outputs, providing flexible professional audio routing and integration with external audio systems. Designed for large-scale productions, the ATEM 4 M/E Constellation 4K Plus combines extensive video connectivity, powerful multiview monitoring, professional audio processing, and UHD performance into a single broadcast-ready switcher.
