Power large-scale UHD live productions with the Blackmagic Design ATEM 4 M/E Constellation 4K Live Production Switcher. Designed for professional broadcast studios, sports productions, concerts, live events, corporate productions, and houses of worship, this high-performance switcher combines 40 professional 12G-SDI inputs with advanced real-time switching, multiview monitoring, and integrated Fairlight audio processing. Supporting video resolutions up to 10-bit UHD 4K60, the ATEM 4 M/E Constellation 4K connects to a wide range of professional cameras and production equipment. Program output is available through 24 independent 12G-SDI outputs, while the USB-C connection provides webcam output in 1080p and 720p for streaming, conferencing, and computer-based production workflows. Four independent multiview outputs each support up to 16 routable windows, allowing operators to simultaneously monitor camera inputs, keyed video, graphics, media pool stills, and the program output for complete production visibility.

Each of the 40 inputs connects directly to the integrated Fairlight audio mixer, supporting up to 156 audio channels for advanced live audio mixing. Every input also features its own frame synchronizer, frame rate converter, and format converter, allowing seamless switching between cameras with different video formats, frame rates, and cameras that do not support genlock. A dedicated reference video input further enhances synchronization in professional broadcast environments. Professional production tools such as upstream and downstream keyers and real-time effects processing enable complex graphics, titles, transitions, and layered effects without rendering delays. Operators can control the switcher using the integrated front panel, optional Blackmagic ATEM hardware panels, or the downloadable ATEM Software Control application.
