The IMDL1 directional boundary microphones designed by Earthworks are for permanent installation in tabletops for conferencing and for other speech applications. While capturing every word is critical, the Earthwork’s IMDL1 directional boundary microphones are the optimal solution when a tighter pickup area coupled with an ultra-low profile footprint is required. Optimized for speech, the IMDL1 microphone is featured with a flat frequency response out to 30 kHz that delivers the highest level of speech intelligibility and articulation. This means less straining for understanding the words being spoken due to poor audio quality, so more time can be spent understanding the message being transmitted.
